Printer Ink
Printer ink can be difficult to judge before you use it. The general public just wants marks on their pages, so their ideas can be transferred to other people in print. If you have specific requirements for your printer ink at work or at home, you will most likely have to use the trial and error system to find what you are looking for. If you would like a head start, here are some ways to help you pick out what ink you need for your printer. Erasable Printer Ink There are some interesting facets of printer ink that not everyone might think of. Even the people who are making ink for printers are not marketing to these qualities within printer inks. Does your printer ink erase with a pencil eraser? You may be thinking, ‘Wow, I hope not’. Or you may have just thought, ‘Wouldn’t that be great’? It’s not just cheap printer ink that may erase. The most likely computer printer ink to erase is the ribbon type, so your printer will make a difference here. It can be convenient to be able to erase printer ink if you are writing basic manuscripts that you need to be able to mark and change, but if you are writing something important for a meeting that people should be able to mark on and not lose your original writing, you’ll want to stick to non-erasable inkjet printer ink. (Even if you do use printer ink cartridges that do not typically erase, double check before you buy any printer ink refills.) Getting it Cheap If you use enough printer ink that you don’t have to review the steps for a printer ink refill in the manual, you may want to know how safe it is to buy discount printer ink. If you need to spend less on your printer ink budget but don’t want to sacrifice quality in your final product, there are a couple of safe ways to go about it. Instead of just buying any printer ink that’s cheap for your printer, you can use the experience you already have. Consider the ink you currently buy one cartridge at a time. If you are happy with its quality, try bulk printer ink. Through your company, you should be able to get wholesale prices. Cheap ink for your canon printer will be crisp and clear on the page. Also, remember that printer ink colors are more expensive than black printer ink. To save money, buy the black in bulk and only buy the color every once in awhile, when you need it.
