HP 5440
The HP 5440 printer is a decent quality printer if you don’t expect too much out of it. It is not a large office printer or even a printer for an aspiring writer or photographer. If you need to print reports or papers for school and an occasional photo, the 5440 is a great choice for you. Because you can get a cheap HP 5440 printer quite easily, the investment is small for a wide range of options, even if they are on a small scale. Trade a small buy in for high quality printing and go home a happy printer. Check out the 5440 printer from HP in the specs below. I’ll discuss them in a little further detail later. Thermal Inkjet Color Printer Digital Photo Capable Including Direct Printing 1200 X 1200 dpi (b/w) 4800 X 1200 dpi (color) 22 ppm (b/w) 21 ppm (color) Compatible with PC or Mac USB Hookup The printer (the HP 5440) looks very impressive in the text. It seems like an available discount HP 5440 printer would be a great stroke of luck for anyone who wanted to print digital photos. The HP 5440 camera accessories even allow you to print directly, without the intermediate step of downloading onto the computer. The downside is that the 5440’s 21 ppm color printing speed is a maximum. To print a photo with the 5440 will take considerably longer. The photos will look good, but the time it takes will make you realize that the 5440 is not designed for high volume printing. The 5440 is also not designed for high volume black and white printing. The paper will jam on large jobs. The 5440 is not an HP wireless printer. The USB hookup is very convenient anyway though. With the list of what the 5440 is not, it may seem like it can not be a good deal. It is definitely possible to get an HP 5440 cheap though, so it’s limitations may be worth the price. If you need variety in your printing, but don’t need high volume, check out the HP 5440 for sale. It may be just what you’re looking for.
