Epson C86
The C86 printer from Epson is the next generation in the line of printers that includes the C66. The Epson C86 printer offers output equal to that of the C66 but it also offers pretty good printing speed. Additionally, you will find that the running costs aren’t so bad either. Ink and Printing Whether you are using a wireless Epson C86 or the regular with wires and cables, you will find the printer using the DuraBrite inks which are made by Epson. While the output from the DuraBrite is nice, the overall quality of the print outs is neither exceptional nor bad. Epson claims that when printing with the Epson C86 printer that many people end up printing their photos on regular paper. However, the pictures are not noticeably better on plain paper than they are from other printers. They are, though, certainly at acceptable quality. Performance The performance of the Epson C86 is not bad at all. Though far from top of the line, for the price you are paying it is an acceptable printer that will not really disappoint you. It is faster than its little brother, the C66, but overall is not the fastest printer you could get. Cost The biggest upside of this Epson C86 is the cost of using it. Since the printer is compatible with high capacity ink cartridges it lowers the cost per page even more than it might normally. At about 11 cents per color page, it is a real bargain especially with the rising ink costs out there. Where to Get One If you are interested in a C86 from Epson printer then you can find one at most any retailer. Look at the major office retailers if you are looking for a discount C86 printer. Additionally, you can look around for a used or refurbished one if you want a cheap C86 Printer. Overall, finding a C86 cheap is not difficult of you shop around. Overall, the C86 is a pretty good discount printer. If you are interested in a printer with okay speed and fairly good operating cost, then you might want to give the C86 printer a chance.
