The i80 printer from Canon does appear to be an ideal portable printer. It is small and lightweight and travels very well. The noise levels are low enough that even when you can’t control your surroundings on the road, you will not be a large disturbance when you print. Direct printing makes Canon i80 camera accessories very advantageous equipment to have. The plug and print is a necessary option when you are on the road. For a portable printer though, it is disappointing that the i80 is not a Canon wireless printer. The i80 must attach physically to your computer in order to receive information.

If you need a portable printer for a short term project or vacation, the i80 will probably be ideal. As you can see in the product specs, the i80 does have excellent resolution. The bubble jet from Canon is also fairly reliable. The reliability ends after a short time, however.
