Canon 3000
The Canon 3000 printer has been built in different formats. The one model that is currently available for sale in multiple locations is the BJC 3000. The 3000 offers moderate printing product as well as a few convenience features. The 3000 is not completely satisfactory, however. It is nearly impossible to find a cheap Canon 3000 printer, even though the machine is not terribly impressive. An available discount Canon 3000 printer would be good to see, but I have not seen one under $200. It is definitely causes hesitation in the buying process when you cannot find a Canon 3000 cheaper than a printer of much higher quality. The specs for the 3000 follow: Printer - Canon 3000 - Specifications Color Inkjet 1440 X 720 dpi (b/w) 1440 X 720 dpi (color) 6 ppm (b/w) variable ppm (color) Compatible with PC or Mac 1 year warranty The 3000 printer from Canon is not a bad printer, but it’s not stellar either. The color is pretty good, but the resolution could use a little more capability. The Canon 3000 camera accessories are not used to their full potential with the 3000. The 3000 is also not a Canon wireless printer. It does accept a wide variety of paper media, but without a paper tray, the options for sorting those papers is limited with the 3000. The paper tray is not convenient in the Canon 3000 for sale, but you can always purchase one that will work. The feature the 3000 does have that is ultra convenient is the ink replacement system. Color ink cartridges especially can be very, very expensive. It is such a waste when you run out of the blue, but have to replace the red and yellow as well because they are all in the same cartridge. The 3000 has solved the problem of wasted color ink. Each color is stored individually, so you only need to buy essentially 1/3 of a cartridge to replace the color in your 3000 printer. While the resolution on the 3000 is acceptable for most applications, the printing speed leaves something to be desired. The color printing can be especially slow. The one year warranty is comforting, but in the end, the 3000 is just not as impressive as its price tag might suggest.
